Brent and Shirley Ankrum live in Pocatello, ID and
their lives have revolved around competition horses for year. They
both have competed in different disciplines and so have their
children. They have two daughters, both grown and married and both
barrel racers. Their two son-in-laws are ropers and their 4
grandchildren are involved in rodeo.
Shirley is a professional barrel racer and has been
training horses for over 30 years. She is also a horsemanship
clinician and puts on clinics by request. Shirley is also a
certified Acuscope / Myoscope Technician.
Brent is a construction inspector for a local
Natural Gas company. He use to run chariot horses back in "the
day".
